  • Lack of data visibility in Google Analytics 4 for Branch.io events

Hey, I’ve been working on integrating the Branch SDK and Google Analytics 4 into my app for mobile attribution. I’m trying to send Branch.io events to the Google Analytics 4 dashboard. I followed the documentation on this link https://help.branch.io/partners-portal/docs/google-analytics-4#properties-sent-to-google-analytics
Everything seems fine, as Branch.io should be sending the correct webhook logs to GA4. But I’m not seeing any test data appearing in my Google Analytics 4 dashboard. Do you know why that could be happening? Here’s a screenshot to show you what I’m seeing: Branch WebHook

There could be a couple of reasons why this is happening. It could be that there’s a delay with the data appearing on the GA4 dashboard, as it can sometimes take a while for all the details to process. Also, it’s worth double-checking that you’ve set everything up correctly with your Branch and GA4 integration. Make sure the specific events you’re tracking are properly configured in both platforms.

It seems like you have correctly set up the Branch SDK and Google Analytics 4 to send Branch.io events to your GA4 dashboard based on the documentation you have provided. It’s not uncommon, however, to not see test data immediately appear in your GA4 dashboard. There could be a delay between when data is sent from Branch and when it appears on GA4. It’s also important to ensure that your test data is being sent correctly and to the right property in GA4. Sometimes, settings or filters may accidentally prevent data from appearing. Lastly, there could also be an issue on GA4’s end processing the data. If you’ve already checked all these factors, it might be best to consider reaching out to their support for further assistance.
