“Hey there, I’m trying to get my GA4 results to look like my Universal Analytics results. I’ve added some screenshots below to show what I’m talking about.

    Looks like this in GA4:

And here’s how it looks in Universal Analytics:

I’m a bit of a newbie when it comes to programming. I tried changing the tracking code to show data from the last 5 minutes, like it does in Universal Analytics, but no luck.

Any geniuses out there know how to make this work?”

You may not be able to get your GA4 results to look exactly like your Universal Analytics results because these are two different platforms with different ways of measuring and reporting. The main difference is that Universal Analytics is session-based while GA4 is event-based. That being said, you may be able to get similar data by exploring GA4’s new features and options. To do this, go to ‘reports’ and create a new report based on your requirements. If you’re looking for real-time data like in Universal Analytics, go to the ‘real-time’ section in GA4. Here, you’ll see data from the last 30 minutes by default, but you cannot change it to display data from the last 5 minutes as you could in Universal Analytics. So, getting exact same look or functionality might not be possible due to fundamental differences between these two platforms.

In GA4 interface, you may not be able to make the data look exactly like in Universal Analytics due to their inherent structural differences. Google is constantly improving GA4, so it may introduce more matching functionalities with time. Regarding the tracking code, GA4 works differently than Universal Analytics. If you’ve already tried changing the tracking code with no results, then you’re encountering the limits of GA4 as it’s currently designed. You should keep an eye on GA4 updates and Google’s documentation on it to navigate your way around its features and implementations.
