What you’re experiencing is quite normal. Currently, Google Analytics does not support filtering out internal traffic for data sent via the Measurement Protocol. This limitation means that, even if you do create a custom filter in the testing area, your IP address filter isn’t compatible with the Measurement Protocol data, which is likely causing the “No data currently available for this dimension” error message. Therefore, you’re not able to see or apply the filter in the Realtime Reports.
