As of now, linking your Android and iOS apps directly to Google Analytics 4 (GA4) without Firebase appears to not be possible. Google has integrated Firebase into its data collection methodology for mobile apps, making it an integral part of the process. Firebase is essentially the SDK that links your app to GA4. This means that if you want to use GA4 for your mobile apps analytics, you’ll have to integrate your app with Firebase first.
