Trouble finding Conversion Paths after linking GA4 to Big Query
Hey there,
I’m trying to pull conversion path data into my big query project from GA4 (go to Advertising, then Attribution, and finally Conversion Paths) but for some strange reason, I’m not seeing it, even though I’ve linked my account to the project. Has anyone else dealt with this and found a solution?
Appreciate it.
Oh, and just to add, my GA4 property’s linked to my Big Query project and the data has come through, but I still can’t seem to find the Conversion Paths. Weird, right?

At the moment, Google does not support the export of conversion path data from GA4 to BigQuery. This is why you are unable to see this data in your BigQuery project even though your GA4 property is linked and other data has come through. These limitations and changes are part of Google’s transition from Universal Analytics to GA4. Hopefully, Google is working to add additional features to GA4 and BigQuery integration in the future. For now, you’d need to find alternative methods to analyse the conversion path data outside of BigQuery.

Unfortunately, GA4 data that’s exported to Google BigQuery does not currently include the conversion path data you’re looking for. This is because the Google Analytics interface and the raw data exported to BigQuery are not one and the same. Google Analytics uses raw data in its underlying data sets to generate the reports you see in the interface, adding attributes such as conversion paths. However, when GA4 data is exported to BigQuery, it includes only the raw events data, without the additional attributes. This is why you aren’t able to see the conversion paths in your BigQuery project.
