Tracking Users with Extended Page Engagement in GA4
So, here’s the thing. I’ve got a nifty little goal setup in UA/GA3 where I can see how many users hang out on a page for longer than 180 seconds – kinda like a digital loitering stat, right? I’m hoping I can see the same thing in GA4. Is that doable?
I know GA4 gives me this cool user engagement feature, showing me when someone’s clicked through 2 or more pages and stuck around for 10 to 60 seconds. But what I’m after is just tracking the users who’ve spent 180 seconds or more on just one page. A bit more specific, I know.
Got an example here from good ol’ UA that I’d love to recreate:
