GA4 Events Not Showing Up in Events List: Why This May Be Happening
Hey there, I’ve been trying to get my head around this issue and need your expertise. So, when I’m rockin’ preview mode in GTM, I’m seeing all these events in the debug ribbon, and I spot that nifty debug parameter sitting at 1. All good so far.
But here’s the kicker: when I step out of GTM preview and just chill on the site like a regular visitor, the events start popping up under ‘top events’ to the right of the debug ribbon, only they don’t make a peep in the ribbon itself. Check it out:
Now, these ‘ug_apply_click’ events are being mighty elusive; can’t find ’em on the main events list to label as conversions. Not even once!
I’ve done my checks: GTM container is published, events are all dressed up and good to go, and it’s been a fortnight already.
Even tried shaking things up, swapped the reporting identity from blended to observed, but no dice!
I’m stumped. The events are happening in droves, I’m certain. Plus, I’ve set all of this up in exactly the same way on other sites and it’s worked like a charm.
What do you think? Got any tricks up your sleeve to fix this one? Thanks in advance…
Cheers, Tom
