You know how when you pull data directly there’s normally no trouble? Well, I’ve been getting some discrepancies when I compare it to the on-site data.

As an example, if I take a peek at some fields (see… Read more

A potential issue could be due to duplicate or incorrectly set up conversion events. Can I do that when I also use GA4 in tandem with Google Search Console? I’m scratching my head looking for the dimension parameter, but no dice. Isn’t “ga:keyword” the equivalent in UA? Cheers in advance! Marta

Configuring G4 Events as HTML Attributes

Sure, here’s a more laid-back explanation:

So, you’re on the right idea with tracking the button clicks. But, here’s the thing – Google Analytics isn’t that great at creating new events. It kinda just works with the data it already has, it doesn’t let you change the way data is gathered.

What you gotta do instead is set up your own tracking… Read more

Instead, GA4 uses ‘Conversions’, which are essentially the new equivalent of ‘Goals’ in UA. You can mark any event as a ‘Conversion’ in the GA4 layout.
