I’ve been playing around with Google Analytics and I was trying to pull the real-time reports displayed on their website. I’ve attempted using their API to grab data through dimensions and metrics. Is there possibly another way I could fetch data from their dashboard straight to my reactjs app?

Sampling is a method Google uses to generate quicker reports. For large data sets, it only processes a portion of the data (sample) instead of the entire data set. One way to minimize the effect of sampling is… Read more

After some consideration, I personally decided to go with Option 2. To me, ‘view_item_list’ seems to suggest a product listing page or a section of recommended products. The only downside I see is it might overstate the views for the main product. But then again, it’s all a matter of how you interpret the data, isn’t it?

I’ve got this piece of Laravel code in my app that’s currently sending UA events to Google Analytics. However, I’m struggling a bit when it comes to sending these over to GA4, I’m not getting much from their docs. Has anyone of you managed to get this sorted? Here’s the current code FYI.”

I know it’s a bit confusing, but I hope that clears it up for you!
